LightFair International celebrates 20 years, honors 20-year exhibitors
The world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, LIGHTFAIR® International (LFI), celebrates 20 years of innovation as it opens the doors to thousands of lighting industry professionals next month.
For the last two decades, LFI has been North America’s premier lighting resource, featuring the world’s best and brightest innovators, educators and designers, including 12 companies that have exhibited with LFI since its inception.
LFI will honor the following 20-year exhibitors during the LFI Innovation Awards presentation on Tuesday, May 5, preceding the grand opening of the 2009 trade show floor: Alanod GMBH & Co. KG, Osram Sylvania, A.L.P. Lighting Components, Inc., Philips Lighting Company, Aluminum Coil Anodizing Corp. (aka Conservation Technology), Prudential Lighting, SLP Lighting, Con-Tech Lighting, Tech Lighting, GE Consumer & Industrial, Ushio America, Inc., and Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.
Following the Innovation Awards ceremony, LFI show management— including Libby Morley, an LFI founder—and representatives from IES and IALD will participate in a ceremonial ribbon cutting to recognize the evolution of 20 years of lighting and the success of the trade show and conference experienced today. All LFI attendees and exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to participate in the 20-year celebration events.
