Date Announced: 04 May 2012 The latest version of Sill’s Aeriel modular LED projector was launched on the Sill stand at Light + Building 2012 in Frankfurt. With this innovative exterior/ interior projector, asymmetric, streetlight, narrow beam, wide beam, ellipsoid, uplight, or downlight distributions can be achieved or combined at the user's choosing.Mounting options include, wall mount, column top or ceiling hung – all are possible with Aeriel’s unparalled flexibility of use and reliability. Concept designed by Pritchard Themis, London this modular, adjustable and powerful projector is a brilliant combination of the benefits of LED technology with Sill’s global reputation for optics and quality engineering. Sill’s attention to thermal engineering ensures long LED life and high output even in high ambient temperature countries, whilst the orientation of the fins allows heat to be released and dirt to fall through. Form follows function beautifully and Aeriel’s LED modules are rated IP65 for outdoor use.Aeriel can have 1, 2 or 3 modules, each module is available with 7 different optic options and each module can be your choice of white, RGB-A, RGB-W or monochromatic colour and each has a full 350 degrees of rotational adjustment, with the facility to lock the module once aimed. Control options include, DALI, DMX, 0-10V or programs held in driver memory; all Aeriels have the drivers and PSU on board. Even the paint finish is customisable, with the bezel available in matching or contrasting colour to add even more design options.
