Since the amount of the food resources on the earth is limited, also the nature disaster happens more frequently in recent years, to increase the productivity of the farmland is to understand how the crops utilize the sun light. That is the role of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) measurement.

PAR-200, made by J&C Technology, is developed under the goal of convenient and accurate on PAR measurement.

Therefore, PAR-200 is a hand-held device equipped with a spectrometer core. That means PAR-200 is easy to carry around, and more accurate than the photodetector-type device.

Besides the data, spectrum graph gives more information on how the light is distributed. This information is useful if the light source is a combination of different light units or spectrum, for example, growing light. Therefore, the application of PAR-200 is not limited to farmer/researcher only, but also the manufacturer of the growing lights.
