Date Announced: 25 Jul 2008 Aachen/Germany -– AIXTRON AG announced today an order from FormosaEpitaxy Inc. for four CRIUS® systems in 31x2 inch wafer configuration.Formosa Epitaxy Inc, located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, will use the systems for the expansion of its GaN-based ultra high brightness (UHB) LEDs production.Fen Ren Chien, President of Forepi, comments: “Our previous CRIUS® MOCVD tools perform so impressively in terms of device performance, stability and yield that we have returned to AIXTRON for a repeat order.
