XL Video invests in more award-winning Pixled F-11 screen
XL Video UK has just purchased another 250 square metres of Pixled F-11 screen, which will be used on the upcoming Take That tour. This latest version is also 3D ready, allowing greater versatility in future applications.
Pixled's F-11 has just won the prestigious 2010/2011 Live Design Projection Product of the Year for 'Display'. The Awards - initiated by leading US-based magazine Live Design - were decided on by a panel of specialists including expert projection designers and programmers, and will be presented during Live Design's Broadway Projection Master Classes, staged at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, New York City in May.
Some examples of XL's 2011 shows to utilise Pixled F-11 include The Brit Awards and tours for X-Factor Live, Westlife, McFly, Elbow, The Script and Deadmau5.
