Formosa Epitaxy places multi-unit order for Maxbright MOCVD systems
Taiwan-based LED chip maker Formosa Epitaxy (FOREPI) and its China-based affiliate, Jiangsu Canyang Corporation, have placed a multi-unit MOCVD system order with Veeco Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq: VECO).
The order is for Veeco's recently-released TurboDisc MaxBright Multi-Reactor MOCVD System, which will be supplied in a four-chamber configuration.

Veeco Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq:VECO) today announced that Taiwan-based Formosa Epitaxy (FOREPI) and its Chinese affiliate, Jiangsu Canyang Corporation, have placed a multi-unit order for Veeco's recently released TurboDisc(R) MaxBright(TM) Multi-Reactor MOCVD System for production of high-brightness light-emitting diodes (HB LEDs).
