Osram Sylvania unveils new LED lamps and Edition 1901 LED lighting fixture

Meeting the demand in the marketplace for creating a décor that harkens back to days gone by, lighting leader Osram Sylvania has launched a full portfolio of Sylvania Vintage and ULTRA LED™ Filament lamps and the Edition 1901 fixture. The new LED products were displayed at LightFair International 2016, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference in San Diego, California from April 26 – 28, 2016.

The Sylvania Vintage LED Lamps offer an antique amber glow with a color temperature of 2200K. The Sylvania ULTRA LED Filament Lamps have a classic clear glass style with a color temperature of 2700K and are dimmable down to 10 percent. Both lamp families offer the incandescent form factor and illumination with the energy-saving benefits of LED technology and are available in A19, ST19, B10, A15 and G25 versions. They are rated at 15,000 hours (L70) and are ideal for table lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers and outdoor lanterns.

Named after the year of the Sylvania trademark registration, the Sylvania Edition 1901 harks back to classical lamp designs. The purist, high quality “PenduLum” luminaire can use one of four Sylvania Vintage LED lamps. The LED lamps provide subdued lighting, with their design making them the central point of light and focus in any room. The leash principle of the PenduLum allows the light to be accurately positioned almost anywhere, at any angle.
