Brass City Hyundai installs Xeleum LED lighting in office areas

WATERTOWN, Conn.--Brass City Hyundai announced today that installation of Xeleum LED lighting in its office spaces, entry ways and hallways has been completed at its new Watertown Connecticut showroom location.

The new construction installation included a quantity of 160 Xeleum 24 watt 2×2 Cobalt Series troffers, 42 Titanium Series 29 watt 1×4 troffers, 8 bi-level Athena Series Stairwell fixtures and 65 occupancy sensors. Mehrdad Ghalebi, Xeleum President, stated, “Automobile dealerships represent a large, important and very competitive market for LED lighting products and we are thus quite pleased that Brass City selected Xeleum after a thorough evaluation of available options.” He continued, “We also appreciate the support of USA LED in the management of this project.” Scott Schaake, CEO of USA LED, stated, “We are forecasting energy usage of 13,342 kwh per year for these LED products as compared 42,703 kwh per year originally forecast for the fluorescent that were initially specified. The 29,361 kWh reduction represents a 69% savings in energy usage, resulting in a payback period of 1.1 years. We calculated that the lights would be ON for 3,744 hours per year.
