The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) will officially launch its Academy lighting education program on September 28, 2016, with a VIP lunch and guest speakers.
The launch follows the Academy’s recent announcement of a formal partnership with the University of South Wales, to offer recognised qualifications in lighting.
The launch event will feature presentations by Peter Hunt, COO of The LIA, as well as a keynote presentation by Ray Molony, editor of Lux Review. (Further guest speakers to be announced in due course.) In addition to lunch, guests will be given a tour of the Academy and an opportunity to visit the LIA Laboratory located next door.
Steve Davies, CEO of the LIA, said: “We’re inviting our LIA members to save the date of September 28 in their diaries. Formal invitations to the LIA Academy official launch will be sent out shortly.”
