Terralux develops circular Energy-Star-certified LED light engine for OEM and retrofit lighting

Longmont, CO – Terralux, a leader in the design and manufacture of commercial LED lighting and building control products, announces the release of a new series of energy efficient circular LED light engines, providing up to 4000 lumens.

The SR12 series is an easy-to-install LED upgrade for use in commercial ceiling domes, drum pendants, and parking garage fixtures.

They are a UL recognized component (UL 8750), making them suitable for use in new fixtures by OEM lighting fixture manufacturers. They are also UL certified at LED Retrofit Kits (UL 1598C) for upgrade of existing incandescent or ballasted compact fluorescent (CFL) or High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting fixtures to reliable, energy efficient, LED.

They’re suitable for use in sealed or unsealed fixtures, including outdoor listed and labeled wet location fixtures. All models have a 7-year warranty, even in non-stop, 24/7 commercial operation. They deliver up to 135 lumens per watt (lm/W), which provides more than 50% energy cost savings compared to compact fluorescent, and 60% energy cost savings compared to HID light sources.”

All models are ENERGY STAR certified, as Luminaire Retrofit Kits, which qualifies them for utility rebates. Designed for use in commercial applications, they are available in four different lumen packages (2500 – 4000 lm), five different correlated color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K), and two driver options including 120VAC phase dimming and universal 120-277V 0-10V dimming, which provides additional control and energy cost savings potential.
