The LIA Laboratories are now an IECEE CB National Certification Body

As an IECEE CB National Certification Body the LIA Laboratories can now assist a manufacturer with global compliance of their products.

This scheme/certification is the world's first truly international system for mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates dealing with the safety of electrical and electronic components, equipment and products.

The Scheme is intended to reduce obstacles to international trade which arise from having to meet different national certification or approval criteria. Third party CB testing through the LIA Laboratories incorporates more than 50 countries including European Union (EU) Member States, China, India, Korea and Russia. Opening up the world markets to manufacturers.

Manufacturers involved in the CB Scheme that gain the required CB Test Certificates can have access to those countries involved, without the need for costly additional testing, giving the manufacturer a strong business advantage.
