CSU Fullerton soccer scores a Daktronics LED video display

June 23, 2015
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with California State University (CSU) Fullerton to design and manufacture a new LED video display that the company will install at Titan Stadium this summer.

“We are excited to have a beautiful, yet functional, new scoreboard for Titan Stadium. It is a tremendous upgrade and will truly enhance the total experience for players, fans and sponsors,” said senior associate athletics director Steve DiTolla.

The main LED video display measures approximately 19 feet high by 39.5 feet wide for a total of approximately 750 square feet of display space. It features a 15HD pixel layout and wide angle visibility, ensuring a great view from any seat in the venue. An industry-leading weather proof design will safeguard this outdoor display from the elements.

The LED video display incorporates variable content zoning that allows operators to show one large image or divide the display into different zones filled with any combination of scores, live video, instant replays, animations, advertisements and up-to-the-minute statistics.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Cal State Fullerton on this video enhancement at Titan Stadium,” said Daktronics sales representative Robin Hall. “This will add to the player, fan and sponsor experience, while providing video capability for Titan Soccer and for their campus events. We will continue to work hard to earn this opportunity and provide quality and service to Cal State Fullerton!”

Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with consistent, industry-leading performance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
