Electronics industry veteran Barry Jones joins Marktech Optoelectronics

Industry veteran Barry Jones has joined Marktech Optoelectronics as a Business Unit Manager. Barry has more than 34 years of experience in the design and manufacture of optoelectronic detection and RF microelectronic devices. In addition he has overseen both the design and construction of several microelectronic production facilities including several cleanrooms for the Optoelectronic industry including the setup of high volume micro electronic assembly lines overseas.

Barry will focus on domestic production going forward. According to William J Moore, President of Marktech, “Marktech’s focus has always been on emission products such as sensors and LEDs. Barry’s experience will allow us to offer customers a standard line of silicon and InGaAs pin photo diodes and photo detectors or if they prefer custom hybrids”.

Prior to joining Marktech Barry was CEO of and General Manager of Pacific Silicon Sensors Inc. and Production and Operations Manager at Centro Vision Inc.
