Cincinnati, OH – The city of Cleveland is filled with excitement for the opening of the new luxury urban resort, The 9. Anchored at the corner of ninth and Euclid, the historic Ameritrust complex has been transformed into a vibrant, high-end mixed-use building featuring a 156-room luxury hotel, 194 luxury apartments, and Heinen’s Market, featuring gourmet groceries.
The GEIS Companies, a premier design/build company headquarted in Streetsboro, OH has spearheaded this effort. Working with Sandvick Architects of Cleveland the team has worked diligently to preserve the iconic architectural features of the buildings while infusing them with contemporary technology and modern chic design concepts.
One of the most conspicuous and dynamic features of the new structure are the colorful LED Video Displays on the north and south ends of the parking garage exterior. The two 16mm video displays, manufactured by LSI Industries (Cincinnati, OH), measure approximately 48’ x 49’ and contain almost 900,000 LED chips each. The full color dynamic content can be seen from blocks away.

One of our images even wound up on MSNBC and ESPN. LSI has provided us with an immeasurable tool to amp up our advertising.”
