Denver Botanic Gardens’ winter wonderland features 500K LEDs Date Announced: 10 Dec 2008 With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, more than one million twinkling lights illuminate the beauty of a forest path at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.
Nearly half of all the lights used on the new Trail of Lights are sparkling, energy-saving LEDs, reflecting the Gardens' commitment to conservation and sustainability.
The Trail of Lights includes a children's play area with a treehouse and a restored 1880s homestead decorated in a Colorado country Christmas motif. Guests can also enjoy warm drinks to ward off the seasonal chill.
The Trail is open Wednesday through Sunday nights from 5 to 8:30 pm until Jan. 4.
