| The 2009 Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) SSL Design Competition—sponsored by IES, IALD and DOE—will be accepting “Intents to Submit” through September 15, 2009.
Final entries are due by November 13, 2009. Winners will be announced in February 2010.

The competition’s goal is to promote effective LED lighting by answering the market’s critical concerns about product performance and quality, and by recognizing those LED luminaires that meet these market needs today.
