LED lighting in London helps cut light pollution

A recent BBC news program discussed dark skies in London, including a discussion of LED outdoor lighting technology.
This excerpt from the BBC program "Inside Out - London" was broadcast on November 16, 2009 and discusses dark skies and light pollution in the UK's capital city.

Beginning at about the 5-minte mark, look for an interview with Eddie Henry, Operations Manger with Southwark Council, who is conducting a test of LED lighting fixtures in Burgess Park.
