The new company, LED Specialists – Devices LLC, will provide LED module and related electronics manufacturing to support the lighting industry’s growing need for qualified and experienced sources of LED-based component production.

The company will provide customers with an experienced engineering and production source for custom or build-to-print LED modules, drive electronics and other components to support the rapidly growing lighting fixture industry migration to solid-state lighting.

The 22,000 sq-ft Long Island-based manufacturing plant has state-of-the-art auto-insertion, wave solder (lead and lead free), screen printing, inspection and test equipment.

With competitive component purchasing power and complete supply chain management, LED Specialists – Devices can provide products from prototype levels through high volume production.

"Our lighting industry OEM customers have been asking us to merge a production capability under the same roof as our proven engineering services – to give them a one-stop-shop for their LED product needs," said Mike Fusco, President of LED Specialists.
