Renaissance Lighting closes $10 million financing round

LED-based lighting manufacturer RL has received further financing that will enable it to target the architectural lighting market.
Renaissance Lighting (RL) has completed a $10 million round of financing led by the Altira Group, a venture capital firm based in Denver, CO.

The funding will be used to grow RL’s portfolio of solid-state lighting products and expand sales, marketing and operations.

Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, RL was founded in 2005 to develop and market its patented Constructive Occlusion® optics to deliver the advantages of LED light sources to the architectural lighting market.
