21 Aug 2007
*** Company press release ***

To answer the movement of eco awareness and power consumption, Macroblock this year will hold the latest Innovative LED Driving Technology Forum on September 12, 14, and 18 in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, respectively.

With the aim to outstand in the rising competition in the LED industry, catching the hot topics of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the uprising trend of substituting billboards with LED display panels in the United States, Macroblock will execute a series of discussions focusing on LED display applications in technological aspects.

These will comprise future market trends of LED display applications, advantages of LED silent error detection technology, 16-bit gray scale design challenge on LED display panels, and introduction of dot correction for LED display applications.

The market of LED lighting and backlighting is apparently blooming in 2007. Traditional illumination is gradually replaced by LED illumination; in addition, LED clusters are widely adopted in decorative lighting applications.

Macroblock will also share the latest discovery on the advantages of utilizing hysteretic PFM DC/DC converter with constant current mode, and the upcoming design challenge on the transmission in LED Cluster in addition to Macroblock’s personal expectations in LED illumination.

The Forums will take place at the Empark Grand Hotel in Beijing, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Shanghai, and at the Marco Polo Hotel in Shenzhen. For further information, please visit www.mblock.com.tw/news&event.html.
