DDP partners with CLTC to develop SSL products
17 May 2007
The California Lighting Technology Center and DDP are developing LED products that meet the requirements of Energy Star and Title 24.
DDP, a developer of LED lighting products based in El Segundo, California has partnered with the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) to support the development and implementation of energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures in general illumination applications.

Based at UC Davis, California, CLTC facilitates complementary partnerships with the goal of creating energy-efficient lighting technologies and products. Tony Toniolo, president of DDP, said "Our partnership with the CLTC will aid in the development of next-generation LED lighting solutions for the architectural marketplace.”

DDP’s collaboration with CLTC is directed at enhancing LED architectural lighting technology, including residential and commercial, per Energy Star qualifications and California’s Title 24 compliancy legislation.

“We are leveraging our engineering capabilities to bridge the gap between LED technology and the needs of the architectural lighting community,”said Toniolo.

DDP’s LED architectural products are available for retrofitting and replacing traditional incandescent lamps and can be designed to meet specific color and brightness levels per the specific requirements of an application.
