Nexxus will not acquire LightWild
01 Oct 2007
A letter of intent for Nexxus to buy LightWild has expired, although Nexxus has completed the acquisition of ALS.
The planned acquisition by LED lighting manufacturer Nexxus Lighting of another LED lighting specialist LightWild has fallen through.

In June, Nexxus said that it had entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire LightWild – see Nexxus to acquire LED lighting manufacturer LightWild. However, this letter of intent has expired and will not be extended. No explanation was offered by Nexxus.

On a more positive note, Nexxus has closed the previously announced acquisition of LED and fiber-optic lighting manufacturer Advanced Lighting Systems, Inc. (ALS).

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nexxus Lighting, ALS will continue to operate out of its manufacturing facility in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
