ETAP Lighting (ETAP), a lighting manufacturer based in Malle, Belgium, has taken over the business activities of LED Design Innovation (LDI), a manufacturer of architectural LED lighting based in Nevele, Belgium.
ETAP designs, manufactures and sells functional lighting and emergency lighting luminaries. The company was founded more than 50 years ago and has an annual turnover of EUR 50 million, employing 500 people in Belgium and Western Europe.
ETAP says that LDI’s particular branding and identity, its unique approach towards design and its knowledge of LED technology will all provide added value within ETAP's current organisation.
LDI’s growth in the international LED lighting market will be ensured through the continuation of its current identity and product range. At the same time, ETAP’s knowledge of manufacturing, its technical support and its logistics will allow LDI to further optimize quality and delivery terms.
LDI’s current national and international sales structure will be maintained, and the company's sales & marketing staff will continue its work as before, by means of solid partnerships with worldwide distributors. |
