One of the applications discussed by Luc van der Peol of Philips Lighting was the Gazi Technopolis in Athens, Greece. This project transformed an old gas factory into a cultural venue with a unique look, particularly at night. Using Philips LEDLine luminaires, each 25-meter tall chimney is lit with just 64 Luxeon LEDs.
