The prototype LED headlamp developed by Hella and Stanley features seven Cartoval lenses in front of multi-chip white LED arrays which provide the low- and high-beam functions. A homogeneously illuminated white "LED curtain" acts as the position light, while a dynamic bending light is incorporated into the bumper.
