The CFR (Code of Federal Regulation) defines a minimum intensity for aircraft wingtip position lights between 0 and 110 degrees (with 0 degrees being the forward direction of the aircraft), as well as maximum values that should not be exceeded in the overlap regions (from -20 to -10 degrees, and 120-130 degrees). The other curves indicate the simulated results from the side-emitting and lambertian LEDs.
