This public street lighting project utilized LY’s most popular series of LED street light fixtures, 290s, with a streamlined die-cast housing, future-proofed light engine, and replaceable intelligent driver design, which is having success in both Germany and other European markets.
“When we are talking about Germany, what are we thinking of them? Industry leader, especially for the highly developed auto industry? Together with overall science and technology achievements? Yes, but for a manufacturer, what we recall most is their super strict requirements, whether on design or fabrication,” said Jason Yang, Vice President of LY Lighting, when speaking to the media.
Mr. Yang also pointed out, “Germany is also an open country and a free market. If you have fancy designs, good quality and highly valued products - that’s how LY won this project. Meanwhile, Mr. Yang addressed that LY has yet more ongoing projects that would be completed before the end of this year; the company is still seeking more local partners to work together whether on projects, products or partnerships strategically.
