WAUKEGAN, IL - AFX wins the 2015 Lighting for Tomorrow competition award for Senior Friendly Lighting with its Ambrose LED pendant. Addressing the specific needs of seniors, the elegant Ambrose LED pendant provides low glare and well-distributed high light output with 41.82W LED producing more than 3100 lumens with 84 CRI.
According to the Lighting for Tomorrow Judges, AFX's Ambrose "has an appealing, effective design that provides a wide distribution of clean, bright light. In particular, the light output is sufficient to meet the needs of the aging eye".
The contemporary Ambrose LED pendant utilizes LumaFuse™ technology, which fuses together an acrylic white diffuser with linen white fabric material to create a sophisticated and durable shade.
The 24" diameter LED pendant includes a satin nickel cable and canopy hanging kit, fully adjustable up to 6 feet. The unique concave diffuser design optimizes the LED performance with uniform light distribution. For design versatility, the pendant is also available with a Mocha Linen or Louver Resin colored shade, and matching canopy kit. Other options include a 120-277 volt driver with 0-10-volt dimming, stem mounting and various cord colors. The Ambrose LED pendant will be available in Fall 2015.
