Eindhoven (NL) - The Nordeon Group, a leading European lighting manufacturer, introduces itself with its subsidiaries, Hess, Nordeon and Griven, from 5 to 7 May 2015 at LightFair International in New York (USA). The Group thus builds on the already strong reputation of the Hess subsidiary HessAmerica, which has been active in the American market since 1997, and presents its full range of products and solutions with its own booth – Nordeon and Griven will be exhibiting to the public at booth 1181, while HessAmerica presents its world premières at booth 547.

LightFair is one of the most renowned and largest lighting trade shows worldwide. It takes place annually at different locations throughout the USA. MORE than 500 international exhibitors will present their latest products and solutions at the fair. The accompanying LightFair Conference, with courses, workshops and lectures from roughly 130 lighting professionals, starts on 3 May 2015. With their subsidiaries, the Nordeon Group provides architects, lighting designers, and engineers with an extraordinarily broad portfolio of decorative and architectural lighting products and services – virtually from a single source. Together with Hess GmbH, headquartered in the Black Forest (Germany), as a premium manufacturer of high design outdoor luminaires and site furnishings, all needs for the design of outdoor spaces are met. Nordeon (Germany and France) offers state-of-the-art and high-quality LED luminaires and indoor illuminants (tubes) for a wide range of applications – for industry, trade, offices and OEMs. Griven, the youngest scion of the Nordeon Group which is based in Italy, specializes in top-class architectural lighting solutions. Together the companies have more than a hundred years of experience in the development and production of luminaires and lighting solutions. In the future, Nordeon and Griven will manufacture their products for the American market at the HessAmerica site in South Carolina. As a result, market-specific solutions are guaranteed. The Nordeon Group thus proves its strategy of capitalizing on synergies within the Group for the benefit of the customer. The Group's strong brands can build on one another in production, technology, or even distribution, and leverage the corresponding potential. Hess – The premium provider for designed outdoor lighting and site furnishings Thanks to an extremely varied range of luminaires, Hess is able to fulfill every lighting design requirement in outdoor public spaces and exterior decorative and architectural lighting. The product portfolio is rounded out with high quality site furnishings – entirely in line with the company mission of "enhancing urban spaces." Since 1997, Hess has been represented by its subsidiary HessAmerica with sales and production in the American market and can thus build on a high profile and a strong reputation in the industry. At booth 547, Hess will present several world premières of innovative decorative and architectural lighting product highlights for the illumination and design of public spaces: World première no. 1: ACCADIA – Creative light accentuation As part of its expanding product portfolio, Hess will present the new ACCADIA in-ground luminaire for the first time. The launch simultaneously forms the kick-off for the further development and expansion of decorative lighting for outdoor spaces. Developed for accenting and illumination of façades, the ACCADIA in-ground luminaire sets new standards in terms of light quality and design: Unique faceted reflectors guarantee extraordinarily uniform light distribution over the areas to be illuminated – starting from the bottom edge of a building and extending over the entire surface of the façade. The reflector unit can be adjusted in multiple steps. This ensures optimal adjustment to local factors and mounting conditions. In addition, different LED configurations provide a wide range of possibilities for accenting and uplighting. You can achieve efficient lighting performance with ACCADIA. The luminaires' clean design also meets the highest standards: The smooth surface, without visible hardware, prevents wear due to weathering and dirt intrusion while ensuring maximum impermeability. In addition, a well conceived maintenance concept allows the LED lighting module to be changed easily. World première no. 2: Design meets functionality – AREZZO and VARESE With the AREZZO and VARESE pole top mounted luminaires, Hess provides architects and lighting designers with two new, versatile LED luminaires that stand out due to their minimalist design. With a mounting height of 12 to 16 feet, the luminaires meet a wide range of lighting requirements and attractively illuminate both modern and historical environments. State-of-the-art LED technology (LEVO and LEVO Q modules from Hess), can be connected to different control systems, ensuring high quality lighting. DALVIK – LED design luminaires and matching bench The DALVIK product family expands the Hess portfolio with LED design luminaires and site furnishings for integrated design concepts: LED luminaires and a complementary bench, that can be used in a variety of ways on roads, paths and squares, allow for a uniform expression of design for a wide range of outdoor applications and projects. Nordeon – Young, high-tech company with experience Nordeon is a young, innovative European manufacturer of LED luminaires and lights – young of name, rich in experience. Decades of experience in the engineering of luminaires, in combination with the speed and flexibility of a young high-tech company, make the lighting manufacturer stand out – Nordeon combines the best of both worlds. Nordeon has one of the largest production sites for commercial LED luminaires in Europe, with state-of-the-art industrial systems and streamlined production processes. The goal is a payback time of two years for the products. For this, Nordeon relies on innovative development, production and cost-optimized distribution channels as well as "Made in Western Europe" quality. Over the last year, Nordeon has presented itself to the American market for the first time. After a successful appearance at LightFair in Las Vegas and subsequent extensive market research, the official launch in the American market is happening now – German engineering expertise for the USA – produced in the USA. In future, the Nordeon products will be produced at the HessAmerica site in South Carolina. At the same time, the Fair signals the start of an increase in distribution and thus market penetration for Nordeon in the USA. BALDUR – From the inventor of light line systems The latest BALDUR light line system, which was recognized for its outstanding styling with the reddot award 2015 in the "Product Design" category, is presented at stand 1181. As the inventor of light line systems, Nordeon, in collaboration with the VanBerlo design agency, has combined the latest LED technology with clear, aesthetic styling in the BALDUR LED system. BALDUR can be adapted to any room design and offers high quality illumination for any application – for industry, trade or office, in a wide range of variants and models including intelligent lighting control. The restrained design also has potential as a team player: thanks to consistent infrastructure, BALDUR forms a synergistic combination with Skadi spots. A distinctive feature of the system is that the LED drivers remain concealed in the mounting rail and the design keeps its elegant appearance. Prize draw as a "treat" for the visitors As a special treat, a promotional competition awaits visitors. With a bit of luck, you can win the BALDUR light line system with which you can redesign your office or shop lighting, for example. Nordeon Vulkan V 3630 – Efficient exterior luminaire with an attractive payback time For outdoor areas, Nordeon presents the highly versatile V3630 LED luminaire family. The V3630 can be used both as a pole top mounted luminaire and as a side mounted luminaire, and its inclination can be adjusted in 5 degree steps. Further highlights include lumen packages ranging from 1,200 lm to 14,000 lm, and very high energy efficacy up to 119 lumen/W with quick and safe installation – and all with very attractive amortization schedule. Griven – The specialist in high-quality architectural lighting solutions Griven, based in Italy and specializing in architectural lighting, has been the youngest member of the Nordeon Group, having been acquired March 2015. Founded in 1990, Griven has established itself as one of the leading global development and production companies in the architectural lighting market. Thanks to its extensive catalog of high-quality, extremely reliable, and weather resistant luminaires, and its construction expertise, development and programming of lighting solutions, Griven is at the forefront of architectural lighting. Today, the professional LED lighting solutions combine the latest, most energy efficient semi-conductor technology with high-quality equipment for a wide range of areas of application. In the future, Griven will also manufacture its products for the American market in South Carolina. Proven and trusted Italian technology for the USA – from the USA. Griven presents a range of innovative lighting solutions at booth 1181. The SATHURNO LED in-ground luminaire and the high-performance ONYX LED spotlight, among others, will be among the product highlights. SATHURNO – Wall-wash effects par excellence Equipped with 12 RGBW LEDs, the ultra-compact SATHURNO in-ground luminaire is well suited for versatile wall-wash effects on building façades. Its extremely flat and robust housing allows for simple and discreet installation in any type of ground – even where the ground installation of spotlights has not been planned. ONYX spotlight – Illumination at a distance The ONYX spotlight is designed for demanding projects in architectural lighting: the model allows for the exceptionally uniform and precise illumination of objects from particularly long distances. ONYX is fitted with a combination of 96 RGBW LEDs, available also in the cool white, warm white or dynamic white light colours, which achieve a very high luminous efficacy. A separate "polar edition" ensures, with an integrated de-icing system, full functionality of the spotlight is guaranteed, even in extremely cold and snow laden regions. Pierre van Lamsweerde, CEO of the Nordeon Group, is pleased with the premières and product innovations which the Nordeon Group's subsidiaries will be presenting: "With our broadly based product portfolio, we can offer customers all over the world the most diverse lighting and design solutions for attractive public spaces. The attractive design of public spaces has always been given top priority in the USA and the customer requirements there are accordingly demanding.
