Booth #3684 showcases Plug-and-Play LED replacement lamps for Metal Halide and High-Pressure Sodium lamps

Santa Clara, Calif., – Lunera® Lighting, Inc., a leader in lighting innovations accelerating the transformation to advanced LED technology, will be unveiling the plug-and-play Lucy Lamp series of commercial interior and exterior LED replacements for high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. New additions to the Susan Lamp series of metal halide replacement lamps will also be revealed. Visit booth #3684 to learn more about these innovative new LED retrofit lighting solutions at the upcoming LightFair International 2015 held May 5-7 at the Javits Center in New York.

“By introducing the Lucy Lamp family and expanding the Susan Lamp family, Lunera is giving every facility owner and operator the opportunity to save 60% to 80% on their lighting energy in the simplest and most cost effective way possible,” said Lunera’s vice president of sales and marketing, Tom Quinn. “The reduced installation cost, long term reliability and significant energy savings provided by these plug-and-play replacement lamps drives further adoption of LED lighting and increases Lunera’s leadership position in the commercial lighting market.”

Horizontal mount - Mogul (E39) base MH replacement
In 2014, Lunera introduced the vertical plug-and-play Susan Lamp, which revolutionized high bay LED replacements. Now, with the addition of the horizontal mount, Mogul base (E39) and the vertical mount, Medium base (E26) Susan Lamps, new applications can benefit from Lunera’s plug-and-play LED retrofit lighting approach, including wallpack fixtures used for lighting a building’s exterior; shoebox fixtures commonly used in parking lots; and parking garage fixtures designed around metal halide lamps.

The Susan Lamp removes installation disruption and ongoing maintenance costs as a plug-and-play replacement for metal halide lamps. Designed for long duty cycles, this cost effective LED retrofit lighting solution eliminates five metal halide lamp replacement cycles throughout its long 50,000-hour lifespan.

Vertical mount with uplight – Mogul (E39) base MH replacement
The Vertical with uplight Susan Lamp brings a soft glow to the surrounding ceiling area and is designed to maximize illumination in glass or acrylic high bay fixtures, while delivering more lumens below. To meet the needs of specific applications, the lamp is available in a variety of color temperatures. It delivers consistent light levels throughout its long life with an L70 performance at 50,000 hours.

Vertical mount - Medium (E26) base MH replacement
The medium (E26) base Susan Lamp replaces 50W, 70W, 100W, 150W and 175W MH downlights and provides up to 80% in lighting energy savings. It has a significantly lower energy draw than conventional metal halide lamps, which extends the life of the existing ballast.

BallastLED technology
Lunera’s proven BallastLED technology enables its lamps to operate directly off a fixture’s existing ballast, making an upgrade to LED lighting a simple plug-and-play installation without additional costs of hiring an electrician or electrical contractor. By eliminating the need to modify or replace fixtures, Lunera lamps dramatically reduce installation time, workplace disruption and conversion costs.

Where to buy and financing
Lunera’s BallastLED lamp products are available through authorized nationwide distributors. Financing options are available from Lunera.
