Noribachi engineers LED high bays with occupancy sensors and bi-level dimming for Hydraflow headquarters

HARBOR CITY, CA – Noribachi, a leading U.S.-based custom LED manufacturer for high output commercial and industrial solutions delivered upgraded LED high bays for Hydraflow, a leader in the design and fabrication of low pressure fluid transfer components for aerospace and high technology applications, in order to illuminate their poorly lit manufacturing floor.

For Hydraflow’s 173,000 square foot facility in Fullerton, CA, Noribachi engineered 384 new LED high bays with occupancy sensors and bi-level dimming to replace the existing low-performing 400W metal halide (MH) fixtures. The new LED high bays provide energy and cost savings while simultaneously delivering quality lighting during and after prime work hours.

Hydraflow’s project goal was to increase efficiency and reduce peak-demand as well as decrease the maintenance requirements to avoid production interruption and additional costs. The new LED high bays also had to qualify for the healthy rebate incentives offered through the Public Utilities Commission and Southern California Edison.

“Noribachi delivered the fixtures on time in batches so my employees could employ them as they arrived. They were able to meet the specific requirement of including the same installation hook and electrical connector so my own maintenance staff could simply unplug/unhook the old fixture and then plug and hang the new ones,” said Paul Rodolf, director of operations, Hydraflow.

A month after the installation, the upgraded LED high bays reduced the peak demand by 64.8 kWh and the average daily usage by 28.76 kWh.
