TDE-lighttech sets ambience with LEDs in hospitality lighting project for CitizenM hotel

March 6, 2015
The trendy boutique hotel chain CitizenM offers affordable luxury in the most exciting cities in the world. Its newest venue, located in New York on Times Square, has been fully equipped with TDE-lighttech LED lighting in a hospitality lighting project.

For CitizenM it was essential to stand out and offer guests a memorable experience. To realise this, all public areas were provided with Moodspots. These tunable white LED spotlights have the ability to shift colour temperature anywhere between 4000K-1400K. This allows the user to instantly alter the emotional experience of a space and easily adapt to changing needs or situations.

In the high-tech guestrooms, RGB LED lighting and warm cove and spot lighting ensure the guests feel right at home. The light, sound and temperature of the room is fully tablet controlled, allowing guests to personalise their surroundings to their every wish. Throughout the rest of the 21-story hotel, warm white LED spots were installed to create a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere.

The end result of this hospitality lighting project is a truly innovative lighting installation that gives CitizenM a unique offering for its customers in an area of New York that is able to offer a very wide choice of hospitality venues.
