Sylvania's Ivy 2 offers simple access for lamp change-outs

The new Ivy 2 range from Sylvania is the perfect solution for organisations looking to upgrade their lighting in a quick and cost-effective fashion. The range is ideal for circulation spaces, offices, meeting rooms and reception areas, and includes a brand new recessed and updated surface mount options. The range also features new prismatic technology optics which add an attractive sparkle and high brightness light output.

There are warm white (3,000K) and neutral white (4,000K) lamp options and a choice of satin bright, mirror bright and prismatic optic options, to ensure perfect synergy with individual visual and performance requirements. Each luminaire is also equipped with energy efficient electronic gear, including DALI dimmable and three-hour emergency versions as standard. Available in 14W and 28W T5 models, the Ivy 2 achieves 81% LOR using the 3 x 14W lamp package with a bright louvre. It also offers a high light output of up to 7,131lm with the Bright Louvre, 6,465 with the prismatic louvre and 6,656 with the Satin louvre (luminaire output on 4 x 28W 4,000K versions). The luminaire also has a high efficacy of up to 64.9lm/W (total system efficiency on the Bright louvre 3 x 14W 4,000K). Manufactured at Havells Sylvania’s state-of-the-art factory in Neemrana, India, the range comes complete with protective film, high performance T5 lamps and a quick-and-simple connector. Its slim body also ensures that there is minimal disturbance to the ceiling void’s aesthetics, while its easily-accessible terminal block provides speedy installation. The retained and hinged louvre also makes lamp changing an easy and safe task for contractors and maintenance staff. Later this year, Sylvania is introducing an LED version of the Ivy 2 to complete the range.
