Hudson Valley Lighting contributes LED light fixtures to Hampton Designer Showhouse

Aug. 12, 2014

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY -- Hudson Valley Lighting, a leader in beautiful, quality contemporary and traditional lighting fixtures for more than 30 years that is part of Littman Brands, is thrilled to participate in the annual Hampton Designer Showhouse for the second consecutive year. One of the East Coast's most prestigious showhomes, the Hampton Designer Showhouse is decorated by more than 30 famed designers with many incorporating Hudson Valley Lighting's brand new, standout lighting fixtures into their designs. In addition to Hudson Valley, fixtures from two other distinct Littman Brands lines, Corbett Lighting and Troy Lighting, also serve as major focal points in the showhouse. Built by Paramount Homes of the Hamptons, the stunning 8 bedroom, 9.5 bath home is situated on 2.5 acres in a pastoral Hamptons setting. The showhouse is open through September 1st and benefits the local Southampton Hospital.

The kitchen, designed by Gary Ciuffo of Ciuffo Cabinetry, features Hudson Valley Lighting's Baldwin chandelier over the breakfast nook in the bay window overlooking the spacious backyard and RLM-inspired Lansing LED pendants hanging over the kitchen island. In addition, the master bedroom, designed by Tobi Fairley, features the captivating acrylic Andover lantern-style pendant, along with two Claremont sconces. The airy master bath, designed by Elsa Soyars Design, with bright green accents, is lit by the modern Travis pendant featuring an elegantly proportioned chandelier with carbon filament-inspired bulbs surrounded by a cut and polished cube of clear acrylic. Five Blythe sconces, with textured, stacked glass, are also installed within the large mirrors and in other sections of the master bath. "We are happy to have our newest designs that blend traditional lines with modern materials in this year's showhouse," said Founder and Chairman of Littman Brands, David Littman. "Our Andover lantern-inspired pendant and Travis chandelier are two designs using acrylic, a material that creates prisms of soft light from each fixture, and this effect really complements their respective rooms. Our LED RLM-inspired Lansing pendant is also a great choice in our decorative LED options. Hudson Valley Lighting's headquarters are located in Newburgh, New York, so we are happy to help our neighbor Southampton Hospital with this fundraiser." Hudson Valley's decorative flush mounts are also utilized throughout the showhouse, including the Preston and Patterson in "his" and "her" master walk-in closets, Thurston fixtures in the junior master walk-in closet and the Trumball fixture in the laundry room -- all designed by Ciuffo Cabinetry. There are also several of Hudson Valley's portables placed in strategic spaces to add dimension and accents throughout the home. In addition, designer Lillian August chose Troy Lighting's Uni pendant, which adds depth in the living room, and The Rinfret Group selected Corbett Lighting's Argyle 12-light pendant -- a striking presence in the entry. The 2014 Hampton Designer Showhouse is located at 408 Pauls Lane, Bridgehampton, New York. The house is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open now through September 1st. Admission is $35 and includes a journal. For more information on the Hampton Designer Showhouse, please go to http://hamptondesignershowhouse.com.
