Trumpro LED lighting yields 250% annualized ROI for German automotive components manufacturer

July 29, 2014
We are pleased to announce that Trumpro LED high bay lights have been installed in the plant operated by German manufacturer Kamax.

Kamax is the global leading manufacturer in automotive fasteners. In 2011, the company decided to build a new manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. In working with the Suzhou Industrial Design Institute and Kamax, we successfully designed a Trumpro LED lighting system for the factory.

Trumpro provided linear high bay lights. The high bay panel holds 6 pieces of T8 tubes, each at 28W and 150cm in length. The total power per linear high bay is 168W, which saves Kamax over 282W, had Kamax used 400W metal halide lights with 50W ballast to reach the same level of lux requirement. In additional, Kamax also saves on the maintenance with Trumpro LED lights instead of conventional metal halide lights, as the LEDs last 50,000 hours, while metal halide lights achieve about 10,000 hour lifetime.

The savings, plus our aggressive pricing, yield over 250% ROI annualized and a stunningly short breakeven period of less than 6 months.

We congratulate on Kamax for its brand new facility in China, and thank Kamax and all our customers for entrusting us with their lighting projects.

If you wish to harvest the same type of savings by adopting LED lighting, please do not hesitate to contact us.
