LED Roadway Lighting exhibits NXT LED luminaires and smart street lighting at LightFair

June 2, 2014
The Lightfair Trade Show and Conference is fast approaching (June 3-5, in Las Vegas). The LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. (LRL) team will include factory sales and management representatives from Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

LRL’s booth will feature the NXT series luminaires (NXT-S and NXT-M). Earlier this year, LRL announced that the NXT-S luminaire had been selected as Best in Class (Local Residential Roadway) in the 2013 Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Outdoor Lighting Competition (www.ngldc.org).

The NXT series is designed for performance, reliability, and upgradeability, and is now available in two sizes (NXT-S and NXT-M). Easily removable components allow for future upgrades as technology evolves, prolonging the useful life of lighting infrastructure, and substantially reducing the total cost of ownership. Benefits of the NXT luminaire include: - Future-proof design allows for upgrade as technology evolves (e.g. improved LED efficiency) - Tool-less, field-replaceable LED light engine which allows for upgrading of LEDs and field-swapping of optics - Tool-less, field-replaceable driver - Smart Street Lighting for Smart Cities: Available with Smart Grid capabilities with leading industry partners - Optional built-in sensor that allows LED depreciation to be measured and reported over the service life of the luminaire (requires Lumen IQ system) In addition to our luminaire products, we will also feature our smart grid-enabled street lighting solutions with technology partners Silver Spring Networks and On-Ramp Wireless, Inc.
