Enlighted announces Lumina Project for holistic lighting system development as part of International Year of Light

Insights from lighting and built environment industry “Luminaries” are documented in a paper that will guide the future of holistic lighting systems NEW YORK – Enlighted Inc., the leading provider of advanced digital sensors and analytics platforms for smarter buildings, announces the launch of the Lumina Project, a collaboration of more than 60 lighting and built environment industry “Luminaries” dedicated to promoting high-purpose lighting design and technology within the lighting industry and the broader built environment. As a contribution to UNESCO’s 2015 International Year of Light, the Lumina Project aims to facilitate discussion, debate and insights that will help advance the lighting industry’s role in transforming buildings and cities into intelligent, high-performing, and healthy ecosystems. Over the course of 2015, the Lumina Project is convening innovative architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, operators, and developers to share a range of perspectives on the future of lighting and acting as a catalyst for change in the industry. “We are honored to collaborate with the industry’s most forward-thinking leaders as part of the Lumina Project,” said Zach Gentry, VP of business development at Enlighted. “The forums have elevated a need to create a future where all buildings are designed as vibrant ecosystems with an emphasis on the human experience.
