San Jose, CA, USA: On Booth 983 at LightFair International (LFI 2015), LED Engin, Inc. extends its LuxiTune™ LED product family by integrating ZigBee connectivity. LZ9 LuxiTune is the first CCT tunable and warm dimmable source enabling independent color and brightness control offered for compact track light heads.

Delivering 700lm output and a high CRI of 90, LZ9 LuxiTune™ with ZigBee control is a high quality tunable light source with 2 SDCM color consistency at 3000K. Featuring active thermal compensation, the emitter’s closed loop thermal feedback guarantees stable flux and CCT over the entire temperature range and provides thermal protection. The LZ9 2-inch diameter board and 37mm diameter lens options make it ideal for compact track and accent lighting. LuxiTune™ is also available at 2200lm, 1100lm and 800lm outputs with 0-10V, DMX and DALI control interfaces. With two modes of operation – Warm Dimming (3000K-1600K) and CCT Tuning (2100K – 4300K) – it offers flicker-free dimming down to 0.5% that closely follows the black body locus. LED Engin will also show their latest addition to the multi-color emitter product line with the new 7-color LZ7 geared for architectural lighting with a fuller spectrum and exceptional color across a uniform beam angle. Presented with a 7-58 degree zoom mixing lens, the LZ7 emitter adds amber, cyan and violet to existing RGBW channels to achieve a richer and wider color combination for more sophisticated mixing.
