LEDucation accepting speaker applications through October 17

New York City, NY -- The Designers Lighting Forum of New York announced its "Call for Speakers" for LEDucation 9, the largest table top exhibition and educational event dedicated solely to the ever evolving LED market and technology. LEDucation 9 will return to New York City on March 5-6th, 2015 at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel.

Consistently ranked as one of the most attended and fastest growing educational events and expos, the LEDucation conference program features the industry's top authorities to address and discuss the latest advancements, trends, and regulations in solid state lighting. The "Call for Speakers" focuses on a variety of one hour sessions and dedicated panel discussions targeting some of the hottest topics in solid state lighting technology today and in the future. These sessions will cover a diverse span of industry topics and will attract attendance from the architectural, engineering, OLED and LED technology, theatrical, educational, interior design, construction, building management, energy efficient lighting and controls, and wireless industries.

Hosted by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, LEDucation has become one of the lighting industry's most popular events among both attendees and manufacturers. Expansion in both format, quality and size for the ninth annual event has consistently lead to the annual events consistent growth and attendance of over 12,000 attendees over the nine years and a sold out show floor of over 220 exhibitors in 2014.

The two day educational event and expo will be held on March 5th & 6th at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel. Doors will open from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 5th and 9:00 am - 3:00 pm on Friday, March 6th. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit more than 220 exhibiting manufacturers and to participate in CEU sessions held throughout the two-day event.
