Miami's Trump Doral Resort Bossa Nova bar gets facelift with Nu World customized LED lighting

Miami, FL -- The Bossa Nova Bar at Trump Doral Resort is a little bit brighter and more beautiful thanks to custom LED panels designed and built by Nu World Custom Lighting. This bold new look is already starting to turn heads in the Miami area, and is putting Nu World on the map with buzz about the magnificent lighting application.

Ever since the Trump family purchased the Doral Resort in 2011 they have undertaken a massive renovation aimed at completely transforming the resort into a vibrant, modern destination. The reported $250 million renovation has created a flagship 5-star resort with 700 rooms and a world-class golf course, and the renovation of the Bossa Nova was high on the list of priorities. Nu World's backlit onyx, illuminated stone and custom LED lighting has completely transformed the look of the aging hotel bar. Nu World owner Mathew Barlett is proud to have been a part of this beautiful renovation, saying, "The Bossa Nova bar is by far one of the nicest projects we have done to date, the perfect even illumination of the bar is a testimony to our team's passion for the fine details." Nu World began this project in the third week of January, contracted to design and supply the onyx bar top illumination for the resort. They worked closely with the team at the Doral resort to ensure that the project was completed quickly, beautifully, and within budget. The project consisted of 16 Nu World LED light panels custom built to specification, including two custom corner shape LED panels to ensure even illumination at the 90-degree bends in the bar countertop, as well as 3 LED panels to illuminate a custom built onyx bottle tower. The entire project needed to be completed on a tight deadline because the WGC Cadillac Championship was to be hosted there the first week of March. A spokesperson for Trump Doral Resorts was more than pleased with the results of the renovation. "Nu World delivered the order in a timely manner and really has impressed all those who had the chance to visit the Bossa Nova bar during and after the WGC Cadillac Championship."
