Sedna Lighting's omni MOD LED signage module is IP66 rated for indoor and outdoor use

April 30, 2014
Sedna Lighting is launching the revolutionary new omni® MOD LED signage module this week, at the Sign and Digital UK exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham - with three size variations and increased versatility offering lighting designers a totally flexible approach to lighting solutions for signage.

The omni®MOD signage modules are ideal for backlighting complex contours and letters within light boxes, stand offs and built up characters. The 12v LED SMD2835 modules have low wattage (0.72w per unit), are easy to install and with an IP rating of IP66 are designed to work both indoors and out. An improved 160° beam angle offers uniform lumen output which receives support from an opal plastic casing, to ensure the prevention of spotting and an ease of implementation into any lighting system.

The omni® MOD provides uniform light and has an extremely low profile which allows perfect interplay between optics, mechanics and electronics. Increased demand for flexibility has influenced the design of the module -- a perfect component in the design and installation of illuminated signage.

As well as offering reduced energy consumption, businesses will benefit from reduced maintenance and consequently reduced post-purchase costs. The LEDs that make up the omni® MOD have an estimated life of +20,000 hours -- vastly extending re-lamping schedules, with a 3 year warranty offering additional peace of mind.
