April 28, 2014

Harvard Engineering, market-leading manufacturer of energy saving lighting solutions, is pleased to announce it has expanded its sales and marketing team to meet significant customer demand and growth in the Americas.

UK based Harvard opened an Americas office in San Diego only 18 months ago with one employee. The team now includes a marketing department and a growing sales team to manage opportunities in the US, Canada, and Latin America. Harvard Americas has also set up a warehouse facility in New Jersey which means that shipping lead times of stock items will be reduced across the whole of the Americas region. Additionally, the company has moved into a larger office facility. Antony Corrie, Vice President Harvard Americas, commented, “We are extremely pleased with the success we have experienced over the last 12 months. It is important we maintain the momentum that is building around our successful entry into the US market. We have recruited industry professionals with this in mind and I am looking forward to seeing opportunities come to fruition.” Harvard’s products include LeafNut, the multi-award winning wireless monitoring and control system for street and outdoor lighting, and the market leading CoolLED range of LED drivers. The company also manufactures a range of highly efficient LED light engines. All of the Harvard’s energy saving solutions are fully researched, developed and manufactured at the company’s headquarters in the UK.
