A department store in Dusseldorf has equipped its parking garage with the Premium Power LED. In the old situation, they were not satisfied with the light image and did not have the ability to dim the lighting.
The former lighting consisted of a double fluorescent T8 tube and this has been replaced for a PPL Plus, this creates a savings of 56%. The additional saving is created by means of the reduction in maintenance and dimming by means of daylight- and motion sensors.
If there is sufficient daylight or when there is no movement, the lighting dims to 10%, in case of movement and not enough daylight the lighting goes up to 100%. Through this method, the savings increase to as much as 80%.
