Juno Lighting Group Receives NVLAP Accreditation
Accreditation for Energy Efficient Lighting products program enables Juno Lighting Group to perform on-site testing of Solid State Luminaires and expedite the delivery of new luminaires to customers
DES PLAINES, Ill. -- Juno Lighting Group®, a leader in high-quality, innovative commercial and residential lighting solutions, announced that it received National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP®) accreditation for SSL Test Methods as part of its Energy Efficient Lighting (EEL) products program. With this accreditation, Juno Lighting Group’s test laboratory is now qualified to perform LM-79 and ISTMT tests in-house and submit the results directly to a Certification Body for ENERGY STAR®, LED Lighting Facts® and the California Energy Commission’s high efficacy LEDs for Title 24.
Administered by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), NVLAP provides unbiased third party accreditation for testing and programs in accordance with legislative actions or requests from government agencies or private-sector organizations to assure product performance claims and quality. The NVLAP program for EEL products also covers the Illuminating Engineering Society’s (IES) and American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) test methods.
