LEC Lyon has supplied an LED lighting project in the historic city of Rabat, the Moroccan capital that was recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in June 2012. In-ground LED spotlights bathe Rabat’s historic walls in red and warm-white light with the ability to stand up to harsh temperature and vibration extremes. Moroccan lighting specialist Electrimar handled the solid-state lighting (SSL) design.
