| Detailed Description Marubeni America Corporation is a quality supplier of LEDs. Marubeni offers more than 50 wavelengths ranging from 360 nm to 1550 nm including hard-to find, application specific wavelengths, such as 418, 620, 735, 810, 970, and 1070 nm. With a variety of chip sizes - 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 800, and 1000 micron - and many surface-mount and thru-hole packages with numerous half view angle options from +/-5 to +/-60 degrees, your LED choices are unlimited at Marubeni. We also offer custom chip-on-board solutions.
Marubeni is the leader in infrared and near-infrared LED technologies, achieving the highest power in the widest variety of IR and NIR wavelengths. Our high power illuminators are available in a metal stem TO-66 package with 2 add-on lens options (+/-13 degree and +/- 27 degree half view angles) and a newly introduced surface-mount package (SMAL series). High power LEDs using a single large-size chip are offered in 3 packages: thru-hole FL series with an 800-micron chip and a +/- 8 degree half view angle; surface-mount LED with 1000-micron chip mounted on a copper heat sink and with a molded lens of +/-12 degree half view angle (SMB series); and of +/- 7 degree half view angle (BL series).
Expanding its specialties in UV, Marubeni has also introduced a UV high power surface-mount LED with or without a silicon lens (+/- 10 degree half view angle), which emits at a peak wavelength of 395 nm with a typical power output of 70mW at 200mA. |
