Detailed Description

MAZeT GmbH was founded in 1992 as a spin-off from the R&D-centre of Carl Zeiss in Jena. A continuous growth paired with an increasing degree of specialization identifies the direction MAZeT has taken. Excellent engineering skills and high quality requirements of the resulting products are the characteristics of the business activities. The products are distributed worldwide through a network of partners in Europe, USA and Asia. The R&D and production of MAZeT has expertise on embedded computing, optoelectronics, and the design of complex mixed-signal-ASICs with integrated photo-diodes. In addition to the JENCOLOR-standard-products MAZeT offers customized solutions which suit the customers’ demands in functionality and cost. MAZeT focuses its business under the trademark JENCOLOR on spectral selective sensors for applications in the LED-coloured lighting adjustment (ambient lighting control), TFT-backlighting, display calibration, chromatography, digital cameras (color management), industrial sensoring (qualitycontrol, sorting), sensors for the quality control of food and beverages and simple color measurement for the recognising and evaluation of color (metamerism). The excellent features of the JENCOLOR-sensors are the interference-filters with their superior values for the long-term- and temperature-stability, as well as their achievable block- and transmission-values in the spectral transmission-characteristics.
