Detailed Description

ERG's Smart Force (TM) LED Drivers are full-function, plug-and-play power supplies for LED backlighting units (BLUs) that offer an outstanding cost/performance ratio for LCDs up to 19" diagonal. They are compatible with virtually all OEM LCDs, with standard product from stock and the shortest lead times in the industry. These are full-function, plug-and-play drivers with a wide input voltage range that maintains a constant current to enable the longest possible lifetime from LED backlights. Features include super low profile (to < 5mm), brightness stability over wide input voltage ranges (5V, 8-18V, or custom), and external PWM dimming up to 5000:1. They can be used with Smart Force (TM) LED Rails, which utilize a proprietary ERG design for optimum thermal management. Applications include industrial, process control, instrumentation, gaming (slot machines, etc.), medical patient monitors, automotive displays, GPS, ATMs, marine displays and daylight-readable displays.

ERG is also introducing a new family of LED Driver Solutions for General Illumination, including encapsulated or open frame drivers for offline and DC-powered solid state lighting applications from 1W to 200W. These efficient, economical and energy-saving drivers offer multiple isolated or non-isolated outputs to enable a wide range of LED configurations.

Control features include power factor correction, ambient light sensing, wide range dimming control, and color temperature variation. Applications include architectural, commercial and other solid state lighting applications.
