Lightfair International tradeshow: company announcements and products, part 2

The annual Lightfair International tradeshow takes place on May 17-19 this year, in Philadelphia, PA.
Switch shows 100-watt-equivalent LED Bulb at 2011 Lightfair Switch Lighting will unveil what is describes as "the first true 100 watt equivalent A19 LED replacement bulb to replace incandescent bulbs." Switch will conduct live demonstrations of their 100W LED replacement bulb at their booth on the LIGHTFAIR trade show floor. They will also show their 75W and 60W equivalent bulbs.

Philips to unveil the world’s first LED replacement for the 75-watt light bulb
The EnduraLED A21 17-watt, which uses the company’s high-power, next-generation LUXEON LEDs, has also been developed to meet or exceed ENERGY STAR qualifications for an LED-based replacement for the 75-watt incandescent light bulb. Those specifications call for delivering 1100 lumens with just 17-watts of electricity, a color temperature of 2700k, a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, and a rated life of 25,000 hours. The new bulb will be submitted to ENERGY STAR in the coming months for qualification testing.

EcoSense Lighting to introduce EcoSpec Floodlight Wash fixture at Lightfair International 2011
Broadening the company’s range of economical, sustainable lighting solutions, EcoSense Lighting will introduce the EcoSpec Floodlight Wash LED fixture, an ultra-bright white light fixture designed for indoor and outdoor architectural use. The company will also unveil its EcoSpec Linear HP EXT product family at LIGHTFAIR.

GE enables all-LED rooms with LED edge-lighting fixtures
GE will unveil a portfolio of sleek and stylish recessed and suspended fixtures that will make LED-based solid-state lighting a viable solution for widespread use in ambient applications in commercial and residential settings. Each fixture will feature high-quality transparent or opaque light panels coupled with Rambus MicroLens technology that allows lighting designers to do more with the fixture’s light output.

Lumenpulse to show 20 new LED fixtures at Lightfair booth #3511
Attendees visiting Lumenpulse’s booth #3511 will see its expanded Lumenbeam, Lumenfacade, Lumencove, and Lumendome families, which now include fixtures of different sizes, mounting options, and performance packages in both white and RGB. Attendees will also get to see the completely new Lumentask products, designed for under cabinet and task lighting systems.

Rambus announces Pentelic lighting solutions
Rambus Inc. unveiled its Pentelic lighting solutions which allow lighting designers to harness all the advantages of LEDs. With Pentelic solutions, licensees can create the highest efficiency edge-lit LED light fixtures using Rambus technology that provides precise ray angle control and unparalleled freedom of design.

Schneider Electric & Juno Lighting announce new lighting solutions at Lightfair 2011
Juno Lighting Group has introduced energy-efficient Juno LED Mini Step Lights for indoor or outdoor wall mount applications. The company has also introduced the ultra versatile, compact and energy-efficient Juno LED Mini-Cylinder Display & Picture Lights for horizontal and vertical mounting.

Topanga launches solid-state-driven Advanced Plasma Lighting at Lightfair 2011
Exhibited in Topanga’s booth #3738 will be the company’s APL system, comprised of a highly efficient radio frequency power amplifier, an electrode-free quartz bulb operating as a near point-source of intense plasma light, and a digital interface to maximize control and management.
