Dominant clarifies outcome of Osram patent case

Dominant Semiconductors has clarified the extent to which its products are affected by the recent ITC patent ruling.
A recent LED patent ruling by the International Trade Commission (ITC) resulted in a partial victory for both protagonists, Osram Opto Semiconductors and Dominant Semiconductor (see Related Stories, right).

According to a Dominant spokesperson, some of its customers have wrongly assumed that the patent ruling affects all of Dominant's products. In fact, the ruling prevents Dominant from importing and selling its Power DomiLED product range in the US.
